Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu or popularly known as Kim Chiu is a Filipino actress, singer, and TV host in the Philippines. Kim gained prominence by winning the reality series Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006. She then became a part of Star Magic and later on starred in a string of successful projects and leading roles in both dramas and films.
One can say that Kim has become highly successful in her chosen path. In fact, at the age of 28, she has managed to have her dream house built not only for herself but also for her family. She considers the multi-million peso home her by far biggest investment.
Found in an exclusive Quezon City subdivision, modern meets classic in her three-story, four-bedroom mansion. The 600 sqm lot was built with the supervision of her design consultant, Janet Diquiatco-Torio.

According to Kim, she’d paint the whole house pink from floor to ceiling if it were solely up to her. Fortunately, her eldest sister, Lakambini, talked her out of it, although Kim still managed to have as many pretty pink spaces as possible.
Facade
The exterior of the house has a neutral shade that consists of single-pane windows surrounded by stone columns.

Front Door
Kim’s home front is designed with mystic knots, a feng shui symbol which is believed to attract good fortune and establish harmony in the homeowner’s life. It is also said that this could help her find her one true love.

Living Room
The living room creates a warm and cozy feeling with its neutral color scheme. The Egyptian chandelier that can be seen hanging in her cathedral ceiling provides elegance in her living room.

Private Salon

It was Kris Aquino who gave Kim the idea of installing a private salon in her home. Of course, Kim initially wanted the entire room pink, but her interior designer suggested to add black.
Second-Floor Living Room
This pink space is where Kim entertains her friends. It’s complete with a home theatre system, an XBox 360, and a Filmography media player.

Kim’s Bedroom
Some of the highlights of Kim’s dollhouse bedroom are the office area and living room. It is surrounded with a custom-made bed with a tufted headboard, two side tables, and a study table with a chair.
The actress’ feng shui consultant, Joy Lim, suggested adding painted peonies to help her find true love. The large stuffed bear is from Xian Lim, while the two smaller ones on the bed are from Gerald Anderson.

Kim’s Bathroom
Kim’s spacious bathroom contains a walk-in closet, bathtub, and glass enclosure with a rain shower.

Walk-In Closet
Kim had the entire third floor of her house converted into a walk-in closet and storage area.

Swimming Pool
Located in Kim’s backyard space is her very own rectangular swimming pool which can be lit with seven different colors.
However, due to her jam-packed schedule of shootings and TV guestings, the “Chinita Princess” said that there are times she cannot go home to her mansion. Hence, she decided to invest in what she calls her “second home” which she can take everywhere she goes – her completely polished posh van.
