Neri Naig-Miranda Harvest Vegetables In Their Garden For Their Meals Amid Covid-19 Home Quarantine

34-year-old actress-turned-mompreneur Neri Naig-Miranda once again proved that she is indeed worthy of her “Wais na Misis” title when she showed to her fans and followers that she gets vegetables that they will use for their meals straight from their own garden.
Now that we’re almost in the 3rd week of ECQ or “enhanced community quarantine,” which was declared by President Rodrigo Duterte to combat the spread of the pandemic Coronavirus or Covid-19, many Filipinos, especially those families who rely on daily-wage basis worries on how they would provide food on their table every day.
Although there are relief goods distributed by the local government for the greatly affected families, as well as other non-government related donation drives, many were still complaining that this will not be enough for their whole family.
Just recently, the Baguio City Veterinary Office-Agricultural Services Division has decided to distribute vegetable seeds to different barangays so their residents can start growing their own “survival garden” in the comfort of their own homes.
In a recent Instagram post of Neri, the celebrity mom and social media influencer shared the same idea when she uploaded a teaser video showing her harvesting vegetables in her garden at their home in Tagaytay.
“Yung mga naani ko, niluto ko rin. Feeling farm to table ang dating, hehe. Sabay-sabay tayong manood! Sorry medyo maingay lang nanay ko, panay puna sa akin, haha! Normal lang namin yun, hahaha!”
sabi ni Neri sa kanyang Instagram post.
Meanwhile, in her YouTube channel, Neri uploaded the full 6-minute video featuring their simple meal of the day. The 34-year-old “Wais na Misis” together with her mom prepared a healthy dish called Chopsuey, but what made this meal extra special is that the vegetables used were harvested from their own farm or their garden.
After their lunch, Neri also prepared a healthy “merienda” boiled mais or corn that is also from their own garden.
As of this writing, her vlog already has more than 900k views on the popular video-sharing platform.
