Meet Donya Tesoro, The Young & Beautiful Mayor Of San Manuel Tarlac

The whole country is facing lots of challenges on how to lessen the burden that the Filipinos are experiencing now because of the health crisis brought by the pandemic Covid-19.

President Rodrigo Duterte and the whole government aims to combat the spread of this infectious disease by placing the entire Luzon area in “enhanced community quarantine,” as well as the other parts of the Philippines.

During these trying times, we were able to witness how the respective mayors of each city responded to help the people in their area. This also made the people in some cities really proud that they voted for the right leader who not only showed efforts to fight the spread of this disease, but also made them feel safe and secure that the local government will support them in their daily needs.

Talking about the most admired mayors in the country, many of you would probably agree that Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig and Mayor “Yorme” Isko Moreno of Manila belongs to the top-performing public servants today.

Meanwhile, another mayor who is currently making rounds online is this 28-year-old female politician from San Manuel, in Tarlac — Mayor Donya Tesoro.

On the Facebook page of “Go Tarlac,” they shared photos of Mayor Tesoro while she’s helping in the actual repacking of the relief goods that will be distributed to her constituents.

“Flex ko lang Mayor namin sa San Manuel Tarlac, si Mayor Donya Tesoro. Kung ang Pasig ay may Mayor Vico, at ang Manila ay may Mayor Isko, kami may Mayor Donya. Hindi lang puro ganda may nagagawa rin,” the post read.

But aside from being a great leader, the young mayor also caught the attention of many people because of her undeniable charm and her good fashion sense.

In fact, just like mayor Vico, she also made it to the list of “Millennial Mayors” of Mega Manila.

Mayor Tesoro graduated from Miriam College finishing a degree in Communications. She took her master’s degree in Public Administration at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Before she was inducted as Mayor at San Manuel Tarlac, she first served as the city’s councilor and vice mayor. Her father Benjamin “Bening” Tesoro is the former mayor of San Manuel Tarlac and is now serving their city as a vice mayor.
