Former Filipina-Italian actress and model Vanessa Del Bianco were born and raised in Canada. It was after this beautiful lady won the Model Search America paved the way for her way to join the Philippine showbiz industry.
Vanessa then joined ABS-CBN`s Star Circle Quest Batch 4, and got her first as an actress in the 1996 youth-oriented show “Gimik.”
She was also among the celebrities in the late ’90s with a steady career. During the peak of her career, she did numerous primetime TV series and several commercial deals, one of which was when she did an advertisement for a famous anti-dandruff shampoo.
In 1998, the actress eventually became a mainstay host in the defunct noontime show of the Kapamilya network “Magandang Tanghali Bayan” (MTB), together with the three other male hosts Randy Santiago, Willie Revillame, and John Estrada.
In this show, a lot of people were captivated not only with her beauty but also when she showcased her dancing skills.
Later on, her name was dragged in a third party controversy involving one of the male hosts of MTB. At the time, she and John Estrada, who was still married to his wife, actress Janice de Belen, were rumored to have a romantic relationship.
Just like other shows, the noontime show “MTB” ended in 2005, and along with it the stardom of Vanessa also started to vanish.
It was in 2006 when rumors and speculations about their affair completely came into light when John himself admitted that he already broke up with her. But just like their noontime show “MTB” that ended, Vanessa’s stardom also started to vanish along with her controversial relationship.
Vanessa then decided to go back to Canada to pursue her studies which according to her was her personal goal.
“At that time, it was right for me to leave and pursue something else that I was very passionate about – school. Something I was putting on hold for a long time,”
Despite that, many still claimed that she left the limelight at that time because she was allegedly pregnant and already married to John.
She then returned to the Philippines in 2005 as a host of “Stardance: The Search for the Dance Idol,” but she has also reportedly gone back to her homeland Canada.
