Ivana Alawi and Family Repacks Relief Goods to Help Affected Filipinos Amid COVID-19 Crisis
Kapamilya star Ivana Alawi teamed up with her mother, Mommy Fatima and younger sister, Mona Louise Rey, in repacking relief goods that will be sent to the families who were greatly affected during this health crisis.
On Instagram, the 23-year-old actress shared two photos last Thursday, March 26, where she and her family can be seen surrounded by the packs of relief goods, and a photo taken before these goods were individually packed in green eco-bags.
Ivana revealed in the caption of her post that she and her family stayed up until morning just to finish arranging and repacking all of the goods. She also encourages everyone to join such initiatives that aim to help our fellow Filipinos in need, particularly those families who rely on daily wage earnings.
“Pasensya na kayo sa itsura namin. Madaling araw na kami natapos mag pack ng mga pagkain na ipapamigay namin sa mga kababayang nangangailangan ng tulong,” part of her post read.
“I am encouraging everybody to help. Maliit man ‘yan o malaki, ang importante ay tumulong tayo.”
Aside from her relief efforts, the beautiful actress, who is also a famous YouTuber created a vlog last March 21, titled “Car Wash Girl,” where she cleaned one of their cars outside their home.
She said in the first part of her vlog,
“Naghahanap ako ng mga gagawin and nalinis ko na ‘yung buong bahay so ngayon sinabi ko parang ngayon, gusto ko naman maghugas ng kotse so ako ang magiging carwash girl niyo today.”
The actress also pinned in the comment section of her Youtube that she will be donating her earnings from this 11-minute vlog to those who were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
“Sana napangiti ka namin kahit konti habang nanonood kayo. Masyado nakakalungkot ang mga nangyayari sa mundo ngayon pero naniniwala ako na malalampasan natin ito. Ido-donate ko lahat ng kikitain ng video na ito sa mga nangaingailangan. Spread love & prayers,”
Ivana said in her YouTube vlog.
As of this writing, her video already gathered over 4.4 million views.
