Comedian-actor and Eat Bulaga’s main host Marvic Castelo Sotto or more popularly known as Bossing Vic Sotto has 5 children from his past and present relationship.
Bossing Vic has three daughters and two sons, he’s current wife is Pauleen Luna and they have an adorable 2-year-old daughter named Talitha “Baby Tali” Sotto.
It was in 1988 when Vic tied the knot with actress Dina Bonnevie, the mother of his eldest child Danica and son, Oyo Boy Sotto. But their relationship eventually ended and their marriage was officially annulled in 2003. The former couple’s two children also followed in their footsteps as they also became part of the showbiz industry.
Meanwhile, Vico Sotto, who is now the Mayor of Pasig City is his son with actress and former fellow “Eat Bulaga” host Coney Reyes. Vico is now one of the most popular and most loved mayors in the country for his unwavering effort in helping his constituents amid the ongoing health crisis.
Vic Sotto’s fourth child, Paulina, is her daughter with former actress-model Angela Luz. But unlike her elder siblings, she decided to move at her own pace away from the shadow of her celebrity parents. Despite that, she still makes her parents beaming with pride as she continues the legacy of her grandfather, National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.
Aside from her amazing talent in arts, Paulina also made both her parents super proud when she graduated from Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) with flying colors.
It was back in 2015 when she took to Instagram to share a heartwarming message for his father Vic Sotto after she finished as cum laude with her degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Communication,
“To my dad, thank you also for all your generosity and support. I am able to get the best education because of your hard work and I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for your dedication to your kids. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting me in everything I do.”
At that time, she also revealed the gift that she received from his dad, which is a brand new Audi-Q3. She posted a photo with her father beside her silver-colored car along with the caption,
“Thank you Papa for the amazing grad gift!!!!!!??? #CumLaude#AudiQ3″
She also posted a photo of her “cum laude” medal with a lengthy caption, expressing her gratitude to all the people who helped her reach this milestone.
“I don’t usually brag about academic achievements (my mom does that for me), but this will have to be an exception.
“To say I worked my ass off for this would be an understatement. Going into my last semester, my QPI was 0.01 short of Cum Laude. Many times throughout the sem I thought I blew my chances, but I somehow managed to finish with a 3.50 QPI and earn this privilege.
“I do know that grades don’t define you, but I needed to prove to myself that I could do it, and I needed to make my parents proud. I already have the medal but I still can’t believe I actually pulled it off. It just proves that you really can do whatever you set your mind to if you just try hard enough.
“Thank you, God, for always guiding me and helping me stay focused and determined.
“To my mom, you’ve been my biggest supporter since day one. You shaped me into the person I am today, and you continue to inspire me and make me want to be better. I earned this because of you, because of the way you raised me and the way you dedicated your life to me. You never pressured me into this, which I am very thankful for.
“To my dad, thank you also for all your generosity and support. I am able to get the best education because of your hard work and I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for your dedication to your kids. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting me in everything I do.
“To the rest of my family, I cherish each and every one of you, and you’ve all played a role in this somehow, so thank you.
“To my super patient boyfriend, thank you Babe for helping me with school whenever I needed it. You only came into my life towards the last semester, but it was the most crucial one and you helped get me through it and never stopped believing that I could reach my goal.
“To the Com Dept, staff and profs, I learned so much from all of you and I learned everything with a smile on my face.
“To my college friends (you know you who are), I really wouldn’t have gotten through college without you guys. We didn’t spend as much time together towards the end but it helped knowing you guys were there whenever I needed you.
“And thank you, Ateneo, for everything.?”
