Vico Sotto And Coney Reyes’ Admirable Mother-Son Relationship

A lot of people admire the strong mother and son bond of Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and his mother, seasoned actress Coney Reyes.

It will be recalled that in May last year, he admitted that he was not able to celebrate Mother’s day with his mom because of elections.

Vico took to Instagram to greet his mother on this special day by uploading a photo of them showing an adorable moment with his mom.

He also included the sweetest caption meant for the most important woman of his life,

“Hindi kami nakapag celebrate ng Mother’s Day dahil sa eleksyon. Happy Mother’s Day, Mama! Thank you for being so supportive all throughout the gruelling campaign season. I love you! no matter what happens, I will always be your baby!”

Coney, on the other hand, has proven many times that she is one proud mom for raising a good and God-fearing son like Vico.

Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto or simply Vico Sotto was born on June 17, 1989, He is the son of Constancia Angeline Reyes, better known by her screen name, Coney Reyes with Bossing Vic Sotto or Marvic Castelo Sotto in real life. Obviously, the name “Vico” is a combination of “Vi” from Vic and “Co” from Coney.

From his father’s side, the “millennial mayor” has four half-siblings namely, Danica, Oyo Boy, Paulina, and Talitha Sotto. Meanwhile, Vico also has two older siblings, L.A and Carla Mumar, from his mother’s former husband, former basketball player Lawrence “Larry” Mumar.

Before he was elected as the mayor of Pasig, he first served the public of Pasig as a District 1 Councilor in 2016, where he was considered to be the youngest councilor.

After the May 2019 elections, many Pasigueños expressed their happiness as the “millennial mayor” bested incumbent mayor Robert “Bobby” Eusebio, whose family had ruled for 27 years.
