Pokwang Lauded By The Netizens For Preparing Snacks For Cops & Soldiers Assigned At Checkpoints

Kapamilya comedienne-actress Pokwang prepared tuna sandwiches for cops and soldiers who are conducting checkpoints in NCR, this is in line with the on-going community quarantine in the whole area.

The 49-year-old celebrity shared in an Instagram post last Monday, March 16, expressed her gratitude to all the health workers, uniformed authorities as well as the frontliners for their continuous effort to secure the health and safety of all the Filipinos against the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The comedienne-actress posted a photo of herself while preparing some snacks for the cops and soldiers who were assigned in different checkpoint areas. She also mentioned that her next project will be for the health workers, nurses, and doctors as well.

Pokwang captioned her post:

“Good morning. Pa-tuna sandwich po para sa ating mga pulis, sundalo sa checkpoint next naman sa mga doctors and nurses. Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa, matatapos din ito kapit lang mahal kong kababayan. Lord Jesus will cover us with his Holy Blood trust in him lang.”

In the last part of her post, the 49-year-old celebrity mom reminded everyone to adhere with the guidelines of the community quarantine set by the government.

She added:

“Paaakkk again, Paalala, Manahimik ka sa bahay para sa ikabubuti ng mga mahal mo sa buhay at ng bayan.”

Prior to this post, she also thanked the health workers for providing the medical needs of the people, despite the big risks they’re facing since they were the one who is in close contact with the covid 19 positive patients.

She uploaded a photo taken from the Department of Health (DOH) that shows a special message to the health workers,

“Kayo ay tunay na mga bayani. Maraming salamat po!” followed by this caption, “Pangako lagi kayo sa mga dasal ko at ang buong mundo. Maraming salamat sa inyo… May God protect you and keep you safe. Mabuhay kayo!!”

As of this writing, Pokwang’s post already received more than 140k likes and tons of comments from the netizens who lauded the comedienne-actress for taking part in helping her fellow Filipinos.
