Mommy Pinty On The Possibility Of Stopping Alex Gonzaga’s Wedding: “Mag-aadvice lang kami”

A week after the controversial issue surrounding Sarah Geronimo at Matteo Guidicelli’s secret wedding remains the talk of the town, where the uninformed mother of the Popstar Royalty, Mommy Divine, suddenly arrived at the wedding reception to talk to her daughter but reportedly ended up in an altercation with the Guidicellis.

The close-in bodyguard of the 31-year-old singer-actress, Jerry Tamara, even filed a police report against Matteo for allegedly punching him on the neck as the actor accused him of spilling the information of their private wedding to Mommy Divine.

However, this issue was denied by Matteo, who is firm on his words saying that he didn’t punch anyone after his civil wedding last February 20, held at Shangri-La Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.

This issue resulted in some celebrities and their mothers expressing their thoughts on the matter of marriage and wedding. One of them is Toni and Alex Gonzaga’s mother, Pinty Gonzaga, who recently shared her opinion in terms of stopping a wedding.

It was shown in the YouTube video of Pinoy New Channel published last February 22. Mommy Pinty was asked about the upcoming wedding of her youngest daughter, Alex Gonzaga. This video was taken during the grand launch of Toni Gonzaga’s new fragrance line, called Pouf!, made in collaboration with entrepreneur Winnie Wong.

Although it was not clearly stated whether the woman in the video was referring to the recent issue about Sarah and her mother when she asked Toni and Alex’s mom if she would also do the same and stop her daughter’s wedding with her fiance Mikee Morada. The netizens were quick to conclude that the said question seemed to have stemmed from Sarah and Matteo’s secret wedding.

The woman can be heard saying: “Pipigilan mo yung kasal? Gaganon ka din?

Mommy Pinty answered that she had no intention of doing that, instead as a parent all she can do is to guide her children, “Mag-aadvice lang kami. Kasi ano eh, nasa legal age na,” she explained.

Many netizens admired Mommy Pinty, who has been known to be strict but also a supportive mother when it comes to her two daughters.
