Sunshine Cruz Gets Emotional In An Instagram Post Comparing Their Life Then And Now

Kapamilya actress Sunshine Cruz got a bit emotional after sharing photos of her with her girls, Angeline, Chesca and Sam, one that was taken almost 13 years ago, and the latest photo of her with her girls all grown up.

The 42-year-old celebrity mom recalled some of the difficult challenges that she faced in the past, on raising her 3 adorable daughters on her own. Also, on how grateful she is right now that whenever she sees old photos of her and her girls, all she can think is that she is lucky to have been given a second chance in life.

The post which was shared on Sunshine’s account on December 17, 2019, comes with a lengthy caption and a throwback photo when she was only 29 years old and her daughters were still small. She emphasized that in the old photo that she looks so haggard and thin and her daughters’ arms were thicker than hers.

While the other photo she included shows how much their life improves as time goes by, noting that her daughters became more confident and tough just like her.

“A bit emotional now.

“First photo was taken 13 years ago, I was 29 years old here.

“Haggardo! At mas malaki pa ang braso ng mga anak ko sa braso ko. Everytime I see photos of myself from the past, napapangiti at nagiging emotional ako. Sobra-sobra ang pasasalamat ko sa Panginoon dahil ang layo na pala talaga ng narating namin ng mga anak ko.

“Nabigyan ako ng pangalawang pagkakataon na mabuhay ng mas maayos, mas masaya at naging mas matatag ako. Even my children became more confident and I can say they are also tough girls! They are just like their mom, marunong lumaban kung kinakailangan at marunong magpasalamat sa biyaya, maliit man o malaki.

“Family and friends, it is never too late to have a second chance in life. Kung nagawa ko, kaya nyo din. It is never too late to make things right and to be better versions of ourselves. Samahan nyo ng maraming dasal dahil hindi talaga natutulog ang Diyos .”

Sunshine was previously married to actor Cesar Montano, the father of her three daughters. When they got separated, Angeline, Chesca, and Sam lived with their mother.

It was in May 2014 when the actress decided to file a petition for the annulment of her marriage with Cesar, which was finally granted by the court in September 2018.
