Look: Sarah Geronimo’s Bodyguard, Jerry Tamara Accepts P200K Settlement From Viva

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo’s personal bodyguard Jerry Tamara finally settles rift with Kapamilya actor Matteo Guidicelli, and will no longer file any charges against him.

Based on the reports, the two camps already made a deal of fixing the issue about the accusation of the said bodyguard to Matteo, who allegedly punched him in the neck after his secret wedding last February 20, at Shangri-La Hotel at The Fort, Bonifacio Global City.

In a YouTube video released by Raffy Tulfo in Action last Monday, March 2, they shared that they already considered the case as closed since Tamara already accepted the said amount from Viva Entertainment, big boss Vic del Rosario Jr.

It was also reported that Tamara is demanding for 1.5 million pesos to settle the case against the Kapamilya actor who denies his accusation.

As seen in the video, Tamara requested the famous broadcaster to accompany him to the VIVA office last February 26 in Ortigas, Pasig City, to have a meeting with Boss Vic. They initially expected that Sarah and Matteo would also be attending. However, they were informed that the newlyweds had taping sessions at the moment.

Tamara was then invited by Boss Vic to have a closed-door one-on-one meeting with him. But when the meeting was over, Idol Raffy was informed by Boss Vic that he initially asked for 1.5 million pesos but Viva gave a counteroffer of 100 thousand pesos but Tamara declined the offer.

Idol Raffy decided to ask Tamara about it and he said that he will use this amount for his “fresh start,” but he would also agree to settle with no money involved if Matteo and Sarah agree to see him personally and if the actor agrees to apologize to him at the headquarters of TV5.

This request was not granted by Tulfo as what he was asking for was impossible because the two were both ABS-CBN contract stars.

Two days after the meeting (February 28), the staff tried to contact Sarah’s former bodyguard but he was not answering their call. When they reached out to VIVA, a representative of the talent management company named Jay Montelibano revealed that Tamara had already accepted a settlement of 200,000 pesos from VIVA.

On February 29, Idol Raffy received a message from Tamara informing him that he already settled the issue with Viva last night. He also thanked him for all their help and explained why he was not able to inform him right away about the settlement.

He wrote in the text message:

“Good morning Sir Raffy. Una po sa lahat gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa mga nagawang tulong nyo po sa akin. Nais ko lang pong ipabatid na inyo na nagkaayos na po kami ng Viva kagabi. Pasensya na po talaga sir. Magulo na po isip ko kagabi. Natatakot na kasi (asawa) ko pati pamilya ko. Sorry po talaga.”
