Look: Handsome Son Of Lotlot And Monching, Diego Gutierrez Finally Enters Showbiz

Another Gutierrez will soon graced our TV screens as the only son of actors Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon, Diego Gutierrez, just signed a five-year managerial contract under LVD Management of Leo Dominguez.

The contract signing took place last March 10, at Frazzled Cook, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Diego belongs to the clan of Gutierrez-de Leon, and is now 23 years. His immediate family who are already part of the entertainment industry Janine Gutierrez, sister. Father Ramon Christopher, son of Asia’s Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales and veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez, and his mother Lotlot de Leon is the daughter of Nora Aunor at Christopher de Leon.

Based on a report by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), the 23-year-old guy shared some advice that he received from his parents about following in their footsteps.

He said:

“They just tell me to be ready with any opportunity that will come. Of course, before I made this decision, nakausap ko rin sila at sinabi rin nila na magandang opportunity yun para sa akin.”

Sharing more about his plans, he explained that these will include getting endorsement deals and doing commercials, as well as hosting and singing.

“Ang plano po talaga ni Tito Leo is to get endorsements, commercials, and maybe hosting, but not really acting, yet, I love watching TV, I love movies, pero hindi ko pa nadi-discover kung may talent ako dun”

Diego added.

But since he came from a family of great celebrities, many people think it would be easy for him to adapt to the ways of show business. Diego went on to clarify that he’s not really exposed to this kind of career.

“Sila po yun! Medyo akward yung napi-feel ko, hindi po ako kumportable masyado. Maybe in the future. Mag-start muna sa maliliit na roles. Pero as of now po talaga, hindi po muna po talaga.”

In fact, he has more confidence with his singing talent rather than in acting, and he’s more into R&B-pop genre.

He explained,

“Yun po talaga ang meron akong confidence na gawin. Ever since, mahilig po talaga ko sa music. Mahilig po kami na family. Sa kotse, nagbi-videoke kami. After basketball, music po.”

Diego considered himself lucky for having a very supportive family. Which was clearly shown during his contract signing, where he was accompanied by his mom and her husband, Fadi El Soury.

For those who were asking about his relationship status, Diego is currently in a relationship with a non-showbiz girl named Bea San Jose. The two have been together for three years now.

When asked if she’s in favor of his career choice? Diego immediately replied, “She’s so supportive and excited po siya.”
