Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ylona Jade Navalle Garcia or simply Ylona Garcia turned 18 on Friday, February 28, and celebrated her birthday a day after at Palazzo Verde in Las Piñas City.

This young Fil-Australian singer-actress rose to prominence after she joined the ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother 737 edition in 2015, where she was declared as 2nd Teen Big Placer at the end of the show.

Now that the former PBB housemate who was dubbed as “Daldal Darling ng Australia” inside the house has reached the legal age, she decided to host a 1950s-themed debut and prepared a concert party to treat her guests. According to Ylona, the theme of her 18th birthday party took inspiration from her grandfather’s love for that era.

The young-singer actress prepared amazing performances and sang a mix of hits from different decades such as Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend,” “Stupid Cupid” by Connie Francis, Frank Sinatra’s “I Won’t Dance” Lana Del Rey’s “Once Upon A Dream,” and “Bring It on Home to Me” by Sam Cooke.
Aside from this, she also performed some of her original songs from her debut album “My Name Is Ylona Garcia.”

Meanwhile, photos taken during her grand birthday bash show Ylona looking like a Victorian-era princess while wearing her stunning custom white ball gown made by local designer Patricia Santos.

For this special day, the debutante was perfectly dressed by the popular celebrity fashion stylist Myrrh Lao, her makeup was done by Jelly Eugenio while her hairstyle is courtesy of Nante Alingasa.

The venue was transformed by event stylist Gideon Hermosa, it was completed with lots of red elements such as red curtains, roses, and show lights, giving it a feel of a 1950s theater.

Spotted in her birthday celebration were celebrities like Robi Domingo, Hayden Kho, Dionne Monsanto, Edward Secades, Jimboy Martin, Nhikzy Calma, Alex Diaz, Sarah Carlos, Miss Eco International 2019 Kelley Day, and as well as her fellow Star Magic talents Kira Balinger and Raine Salamante.

Ylona’s parents, who are both practitioners in the medical field based in Australia flew to the Philippines to celebrate with their daughter.
