Mother Of Sarah Geronimo Wants Prenuptial Agreement for Her

The initial plan of celebrity power couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli is to have a grand wedding in Italy next month.

But it turned out that the two could not wait any longer as they already tied the knot in a secret civil wedding last Thursday, February 20, at a luxury hotel in BGC Taguig.

Sarah and Matteo officially announced their engagement last year through an Instagram post, but there were also reports that made rounds online that the proposal really happened a year before they shared it with the public.

It’s also not a secret to many of their fans and followers that the 31-year-old “Popstar Royalty’s” mother Mommy Divine is very strict and protective when it comes to the career and personal life of her daughter. She was also reportedly not in favor of her daughter’s wedding.

Recently, a blind item published in a popular entertainment site gave some hints about the ongoing preparation of the couple’s upcoming wedding. Based on their report, the famous singer-actress’ mom was allegedly causing delays and giving the couple a hard time.

Although there are no names indicated in the report, netizens were quick to conclude that it was Sarah G’s mom who is the subject of the said blind item. After all, it was only the couple who is planning to have their wedding in March.

They agreed to have their wedding in Italy to pay homage to the family of the actor, however, the famous actress-singer’s mom cannot join them because she was allegedly not able to get her Visa. Aside from that, she’s also being uncooperative in terms of signing the documents needed by the couple in their wedding abroad.

In addition, she was also giving the wedding coordinators a hard time in the measurements for her gown. Sarah’s mom provided the reason that she might gain weight when the wedding day comes. Another one is she would always give an excuse for not showing up for the video shoots for her part where she will give a message for her daughter and her future husband.

But what’s even more intriguing is the report that she allegedly requires her future son-in-law to sign a prenuptial agreement, which is commonly a written contract entered into by a couple prior to marriage. This will require them to place under her name everything that her daughter owns.

According to the report, the singer-actress disagreed with her mother’s proposal because this will be a shame on the part of her fiance.
