Looking Back At Paolo Ballesteros First Male Makeup Transformation: “Bossing Vic Sotto”

Marvic Valentin Castelo Sotto Sr., or more popularly known as Bossing Vic Sotto is considered as one of the pillars of the longest-running Philippine noontime variety show, “Eat Bulaga!”

The famous comedian-actor, singer and TV host was born on April 28, 1954. He is the youngest son of Marcelino Antonio Ojeda Sotto Sr. and Dr. Herminia Castelo, Bossing Vic has three older brothers namely: Maru Sotto, Senator Tito Sotto, and Val Sotto.

On January 30, 2016, the “Eat Bulaga” host married actress and his co-host Pauleen Luna at Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The two were blessed with one daughter, Talitha “Tali” Sotto. Prior to their marriage, Sotto has four other children from his previous relationship. They are Oyo Boy Sotto, Paulina Sotto, Danica Sotto, and Vicco Sotto.

The veteran actor and TV host will be turning 66 this year, but many of his fans still can’t believe that he is already in his senior years, noting how handsome Vic Sotto is looking these days.

Back in 2015, many netizens and viewers were left in awe after Bossing’s fellow Eat Bulaga host, Paolo Ballesteros transformed as the veteran host as his way of greeting Bossing a happy birthday.

What makes this transformation extra special is because it was the “King of Makeup Transformation” first-ever attempt to copy a male celebrity.

During that time, there was even an epic photo of Paolo where he posed with the other three Sotto brothers that was uploaded on the Official Fan Page of Eat Bulaga.

“EATo na kumpleto na ang Sotto Boys! [laughing emoji]”

Paolo has done local female celebs such as Maine Mendoza, when he transformed into Lola Isadora (the grandmother of Yaya Dub, Maine’s character in Eat Bulaga!’s kalyeserye.), Regine Kalisquez (copying, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez), and Jinkee Doo (Manny’s wife Jinkee Pacquiao), among many others.

Today, the 37-year-old Eat Bulaga mainstay host continues to take the world by storm through his artistry and skills in copying the looks of international stars, beauty queens and famous TV and movie characters.
