Look: Sam Concepcion Says That He Will Pursue Janella Salvador If She Is Single

27-year-old multi-talented artist Samuel Lawrence Lopez Concepcion or simply Sam Concepcion captured the attention of the netizens when he provided an interesting answer when asked about his fellow Kapamilya artist Janella Salvador.

Just recently, Sam guested on the late-night talk show, “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” to promote his newest project, a title role in the Trumpets musical, “Joseph the Dreamer,” which is directed by Paolo Valenciano and will run from February 21 until March 7 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Taguig.

Sam admitted that he was really reluctant to accept the offer at first even if it’s his ‘dream’ role because he was too overwhelmed with how big this project is. But through the help of the production team including Director Paolo Valenciano, brother of his ex-girlfriend Kiana Valenciano, Sam was able to adjust his mindset and condition himself for this big role.

He also shared that despite his breakup with Kiana, he’s still on good terms with the Valencianos as he and Paolo are theater buddies in 2001. When it comes to Kiana, Sam clarified that the two of them remain in civil terms.

In the show, the King of Talk threw some questions which were provided by the netizens on Facebook. The first one is if he likes his co-star Janella Salvador, which he answered immediately that he likes a lot of things about her especially her dedication to acting and singing, and if given the chance he still wants to work with the actress in the future.

Tito Boy made a follow-up question and asked him a hypothetical question about him courting Salvador if Janella is single. Sam responds with a ‘yes’.

Right after this, he was presented with a collage photo that was taken during the finale party held for the cast of their recently ended ABS-CBN hit series. It showed Janella sitting in between him and Joshua Garcia, who is currently being romantically linked with the Kapamilya actress. Some fans reacted to this photo as it appears that Joshua got jealous when he started talking with the actress. However, Sam clarified that there’s no truth to what fans thought had happened and assured everyone that they are all friends.

Aside from “Joseph The Dreamer”, Sam is also part of the HBO Asia series, “Half Worlds,” along with his leading lady, Kapuso actress Bianca Umali. This is the first Philippines-based series for HBO Asia helmed by Mikhail Red, who also directed the movie “Block Z.”
