Look: Dimples Romana Transforms Into Iron Man For Alonzo’s 5th Birthday

Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana surprised her youngest child, Alonzo Romeo Jose, when she transformed into the popular Marvel superhero Iron Man for his 5th birthday.

Last Wednesday, February 12, the 35-year-old celebrity mom and former “Kadenang Ginto” star uploaded a vlog on YouTube where she shared that she got this wonderful idea from the final shooting day of “Kadenang Ginto,” wherein she wore gladiator armor.

The actress was so impressed with the costume and props they used in the shoot, that’s why she immediately asked costume designer, Christian Mark Rodil of “Mark Industries,” to make a custom Iron Man outfit for her.

She said:

“Naisip ko na why not magpagawa ako ng superhero outfit tapos isu-surprise ko siya.”

Dimples admitted in the first part of her vlog that she knows how much she lacks time with her family because of her taping in “Kadenang Ginto, to catch up with them, especially to her son she decided to do something special for him on his birthday.

“I am so excited today kasi naisip ko, ang tagal kong hindi nakasama ‘yung pamilya ko. I wanted to surprise Alonzo, kasi siya talaga ‘yung pinakanahirapan with the whole process na hindi niya ako halos nakikita [because of taping] and since mahilig siya sa superheroes ang isa sa paborito niya si Iron Man.”

She shared.

She added.

“Naisip ko na why not magpagawa ako ng superhero outfit tapos isu-surprise ko siya.”

On the day of the surprise, the celebrity mom told her son that she had to leave for work. But the truth is she just went to a different room to change into the custom-made suit.

When Alonzo saw a real-life Iron Man in front of him, the little boy was really surprised and couldn’t contain his happiness, he also had no idea that it was his mom who was inside the suit.

The two bonded for a while by walking and dancing around the place they were staying and when it was time to reveal who was inside the Iron Man suit, Alonzo couldn’t believe that it was his mother all along.

“Sana ma-inspire namin kayo lalo na ‘yung mga parents diyan na you want to surprise your kids. Kunwari galing kayo ng ibang bansa and gusto niyong surprisahen ‘yung mga anak niyo at hindi pa nila alam na umuwi kayo, I suggest that you can also do this lalo na ‘yung parents na madalas hindi nakikita yung mga anak nila.”

She said in the last part of her vlog.
