Kapuso Actress Kris Bernal Finally Engaged To Non-Showbiz Boyfriend Perry Choi

30-year-old Kapuso actress Kris Bernal is now engaged to her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend, Perry Choi.

The proposal took place at El Circulo Restaurant in Makati City, last Thursday night, February 6, which is also the celebration of Perry’s birthday that Kris organized herself.

However, it was the actress who got surprised when her non-showbiz boyfriend got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

Nice Print Photography captured their special moment together and shared it online. Charisse Santillan Tinio of the said famous photography company also shared some details of the engagement to Rommel Llanes, Multimedia Editor ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

In this photo, you can see the state of shock in Kris’s face as she holds a bunch of long-stemmed sunflowers while Perry shows her the engagement ring. He also asked help from their guests to announce his proposal by preparing gold-letter balloons that spell out “WILL U MARRY ME?”

Perry is a businessman and a chef, the two were also business partners in the restaurant business of Kris. It was in February 2017 when the actress hinted about her budding romance with an unnamed guy, followed by finally revealing that she’s officially in a relationship. Kris and Perry have been dating for over three years.

As she welcomed 2020, Kris penned a heartfelt letter for her beau on her Instagram account to thank him for staying with her and loving her endlessly.

She wrote:

“I want to thank you for the endless things you do for me and for everything that you are, @choi.perry. For loving me endlessly, honestly, constantly, completely, with all your heart, mind, and being! Seriously, I can just count in my fingers our ‘tampuhans’ this year! 3 out of 365 days? No major major! I want to thank you for enduring the emotional roller coaster of my 2019. For being always there for me.”

Kris ended her post saying, “Happy 2020, my love! This new year may we be the bestest versions of ourselves and live in a way that is more pleasing to God!”
