Here’s What Happened To “Luningning” After Willie Revillame’s Wowowee Show Ended

Can you still remember the former female dancer of the now-defunct hit Kapamilya noontime variety show Wowowee named Luningning?

She became part of the popular dancing trio – with Milagring (Danna De Castro) and Mariposa (Rovielyn Cabigquez) – in the said show which was then hosted by the popular TV personality and host Willie Revillame.

Luningning’s real name is Lea Carla Santos, she hails from Cabuyao, Laguna and was greatly admired by many people not only because of her gorgeous beauty but also for her superb dancing skills. As a matter of fact, all the audience were really amazed every time Willie would call her to perform on stage by means saying the iconic line “Luningning Pasok!”

During the peak of her career, she was even featured in numerous men’s magazines like FHM Philippines and Maxim Magazine, way back in 2008. However, Luningning was seen less on TV and eventually bowed out of the spotlight after Willie transferred to a different network and the show got dissolved because of some issues with the ABS-CBN management.

Fast forward to recent days, it appears that she’s still pursuing her passion for dancing which can be seen in her social media accounts. The former Wowowee dancer has now become a businesswoman as she already manages her own fitness gym called “Stardanz Fitness Studio,” where she is also a certified fitness trainer.

Based on reports, her own studio offers a combination of traditional bodyweight exercises, Pilates, and dancing workouts such as belly dancing, pole dancing, aerial silk dancing, hoops, and many more.
