It is also quite astonishing that despite the fame and fortune that they already have because of their chosen career, they still allot time and effort just to earn a college diploma.
Here are some of the famous Filipino celebrities who went to college and the courses they took that will definitely inspire many of us to work hard and persevere some more.
1. Liza Soberano
Despite her hectic schedule, “Make It With You” star Liza Soberano is really determined to finish college. It was only last year when the 22-year-old Kapamilya star officially returned to school when she announced that she has enrolled at the Southville International School in Las Pinas City to take up BS Psychology.
2. Jackque Gonzaga
The bubbly and talkative “It’s Showtime” dancer Jackque Gonzaga, also known as “Ate Girl” is more than just an awesome dancer. She graduated with flying colors from Miriam College in 2015 with a degree in International Studies, minor in Gender Studies.
3. Enchong Dee
31-year-old Kapamilya actor graduated with a degree in Developmental Studies at De La Salle University in 2009. Enchong was also part of the said university’s swimming team.
4. Robi Domingo
Popular TV host and former PBB Housemate Robert Marion “Robi” Eusebio Domingo graduated at Ateneo De Manila University in 2012, earning a degree in BS Health Sciences.
5. Carla Abellana
33-year-old Kapuso actress, Carla Abellana, earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila. She was a consistent dean’s lister and finished her course with Latin honors.
6. Marian Rivera
Just like her fellow Kapuso star Carla, Marian Rivera-Dantes also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
7. Kris Aquino
“Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino made her mother proud, the late President Cory Aquino when she finished her course Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the Ateneo De Manila University in 1992.
