Check Out Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s Throwback Photo With Angel Locsin

54-year-old Megastar Sharon Cuneta posted a throwback photo with her fellow Kapamilya star Angel Locsin that includes a very touching caption.

Last Tuesday, February 4, Sharon took to Instagram to share a photo with the former “Darna” star, which she mentioned was taken almost 15 years ago.

At the time, the veteran actress-singer was doing a commercial shoot for a famous fast-food chain while Angel was still in the Darna TV series on GMA network.

The Megastar also penned a heartwarming message to the younger actress, where she expressed her love and extreme gratitude to the General’s Daughter” star for treating her with so much respect.

She wrote in the caption.

“This was taken in 2005 or 2006. Angel was still Darna on GMA7. I was shooting my McDonald’s a commercial with Kakie who was so obsessed with Darna then.”

She then went on to recall the story of how Angel went out of her way to put her in front of other stars during the finale shoot of last year’s ABS-CBN’s Christmas Station ID, “Family is Forever.” The Megastar added that Angel did not want her to be at the back as she would be blocked by the other Kapamilya celebrities.

“Lemme tell you about this woman. Kahit nasaan siya sa laki ng ABS-CBN, pag nalaman niyang nandun din ako somewhere in the complex, pupuntahan niya ako kahit gaano kalayo para lang mag-‘hello’. During the finale of the last ABS-CBN Christmas Special, magkakasama kami nila Angelica Panganiban at Ogie sa likod habang nauna na lahat halos ng ibang Kapamilya stars. (Tawa ako ng tawa kasi ayaw namin sumabay sa sobrang gandang si Liza Siberano. Mauna na o mahuli siya kasi para siyang lagpas pa sa Miss Universe sa ganda!) Nung nasa stage na kami, ayaw ni Angel na dun lang ako sa likod. Sabi ko okay lang, nakakahiya naman dumaan pa sa gitna ng ibang stars doon para lang mapunta sa harap. Ayaw niya! Dapat daw doon ako! So hinila niya talaga ako at nilusot niya talaga kaming dalawa sa lahat ng mga artistang nasa long stage hanggang madala niya ako sa harap”

Sharon added.

While this might be a very simple gesture for the younger actress, the Megastar couldn’t help but admire her even more because of her attitude and personality.

“Napakabuti ng batang ito. Paano mo naman di mamahalin? She didn’t have to do it but she did anyway, forgetting that she is THE Angel Locsin. Maraming salamat sa respeto, Angel. Love kita!”

She ended her post.

Meanwhile, Angel responded in this post by recalling her fangirl moment over the Megastar. As a matter of fact, there was even a time when she waited outside after an episode of GMA’s variety show “Eat Bulaga!” just to see her idol.

“Ikaw po ang MEGA STAR namin! Grabe, starstrucked 100%. Naalala ko po nagaabang po ako sa labas ng ‘Eat Bulaga para lang po makita kayo! Pero binaba nyo po yung bintana ng kotse nyo para mag ‘hi!’, tapos namatay na po ako sa kilig. Thank you so much po for being a wonderful example para po sa amin sa industry”
