February is indeed a very special month for Kapuso actress Kris Bernal as she got engaged to her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend, Perry Choi.
The proposal happened last February 6, which is also Perry’s birthday. It turned out that Kris prepared a surprise celebration for her beau who just turned 36, but little did she know, Perry got a bigger surprise plotted for the 30-year-old actress.
On Instagram, Kris shared the video of captured by Nice Print Photography. It reveals some details of the Lakers-themed birthday party of the businessman and chef fiance of the actress.
As seen in the video, the beautiful actress happily showed the place decorations and preparations that happened before her beau arrived. This surprise celebration was attended by their family and closest friends.
“I had planned and organized a surprise party for Perry to celebrate his 36th birthday. Little did I know, a carefully planned surprise proposal was waiting for me, too. Back to back surprise! The rest is history!”

Based on her post, this event was held at El Circulo Restaurant by Chef J Gamboa, in Makati City and was transformed by event stylist “Partybitzandpieces”
In her most recent IG post, she even gave an up-close look at the event decorations by posting photos that show that the venue was decorated starting from the backdrop to the ceilings with some purple and orange balloons, which is known as Lakers’ basketball team colors.
Aside from this, they also place table centerpieces such as basketballs and a trophy that has Perry’s name on it, to follow the theme of the party.
She wrote:
