Celebrity mom of three Sunshine Cruz just took her 2.1 million Instagram followers a trip down memory lane after sharing her adorable photo when she was only 14 years old.
Last Wednesday, January 15, the 42-year-old actress shared a throwback photo with the caption, “When I was 14 #tbt.”
Several netizens and other well-known personalities commented on the post, with some who can’t help but admire her ageless beauty.
Her photo also received positive reactions from celebrities like Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Richard Juan, and Yam Concepcion.
Based on a recent report by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), they had the chance to interview Sunshine via Facebook chat, the actress further shared that she just received her old photos from her mother.
“My mom just sent me my old photos kasi, kaya I shared some on social media”
the celebrity mom said.
Browsing more on her social media account, you would notice that she’s been sharing throwback photos of herself and her three lovely daughters lately.
The actress went on to share additional details on the most recent throwback photo on her IG account, she continued:
“Nakakatuwa lang na balikan at alalahanin. Isa sa masasayang panahon ng buhay ko yan. Fourteen, very young, and dyan nagsimula ang maraming bagay for me. I was taught to be confident, to sing na maraming taong nanonood, and learned to dance and act. I also made lots of friends, and diyan nagsimula na nagkaroon ako ng sariling pera.”
According to the Kapamilya actress, the photo was taken in 1991, this happened a few days after she officially joined the now-defunct variety show That’s Entertainment.
She recalled:
“Sa isang studio sa baba ng Broadway Centrum. Lahat ng members ng That’s Entertainment were obliged to have their photo taken sa studio na yun. I forgot the name of that studio pero it’s in Broadway Centrum. I just started joining That’s Entertainment. I was 14 years old there. Very awkward and shy haha. I don’t know how to smile pa nang hindi labas ang ngipin.”
Before this photo was taken, she shared that it was the late German Moreno who personally asked her to join the show.
“Kuya Germs convinced me to join That’s Entertainment mga ilang araw bago yang photoshoot na yan. I attended my uncle’s [Ricky Belmonte] birthday celebration when he saw me and asked me if I want to be a part of That’s Entertainment. Then the rest was history”
Sunshine added.
The 42-year-old celebrity mom has remained active in the entertainment industry for over 30 years already. She now has three very talented and beautiful daughters with her estranged husband, actor Cesar Montano, Angelina, 18, Samantha, 15, and her youngest Chesca, who just turned 14 last month.
