Look: Valerie Concepcion Marries Non-showbiz Boyfriend In Silang Cavite
Kapuso actress Valerie Concepcion is now married to her non-showbiz boyfriend Francis Sunga.
The couple tied the knot last Saturday, December 28, in a beautiful outdoor garden wedding ceremony that was held at The Hills at Silang in Cavite.
Photos and videos of the newlyweds, Valerie and Francis have been uploaded and shared online with the hashtag #FRANKLYinlovewithV.
Spotted in their big day were showbiz couple such as Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz, and Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz.
It was back in August 2018 when Valerie made the announcement of her engagement to Francis through an Instagram post, which is already a month after their actual engagement. At the time the two have been in a relationship for more than a year and a half.
Based on other reports, the 31-year-old actress first met her husband way back in 2017, when he visited the Philippines for a vacation. The two got the chance to know each other through Valerie’s friend, who happened to be Francis cousin.

The couple maintained a long-distance relationship since Francis is based in Guam, where he works as a court clerk. Valerie and Francis both have a daughter from their previous relationship, the actress has a 14-year-old daughter named Heather, while her husband has a 10-year-old daughter from his former relationship.

Last September, the Kapuso actress released her save-the-date video that tells they’re set to tie the knot on December 28, 2019.
Right after their wedding, the couple is scheduled to fly to Europe for their three-week honeymoon.
The two have not yet decided whether they will be staying in the Philippines or move to Guam. However, Valerie revealed in a previous interview that they’re both open in moving to either of these two countries.

She said:
“Wala pa kaming final plans. Basta, he’s open to moving here. I’m open to moving there. So, yun. Pero wala pa kaming final plans kung sino talaga yung magmu-move. OK lang sa kanya na ipagpatuloy ko ang pag-aartista, pero gusto kasi niya, magkasama na kami, e. So, kung magpapatuloy raw ako ng pag-aartista, siya ang lilipat dito. Magbi-business siya or something, parang ganoon.”
“Kaso nga, sayang din yung work niya doon, di ba? Sa government siya, sa Supreme Court. He’s a deputy marshall. So, sayang din naman yung career niya doon, kaya puwedeng ako ang mag-move doon,”
the celebrity mom added.
