The second eldest son of boxer-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao recently had his 18th birthday and he celebrated it in the most meaningful way, by sharing his blessings with the children of “Gawad Kalinga.”
In an Instagram post on December 15, 2019, Jinkee uploaded a series of photos and a video that was taken during the simple celebration of Michael’s birthday as their family visited the children of Gawad Kalinga.
She captioned the post with a short greeting for her son
“Give Back” Happy Birthday, Michael! #gawadkalingakids.”
Joining Michael in this event were his two younger siblings, Princess and Queenie, her mother and her twin sister, Janet Jamora.
It can be seen in the photos that they gave the kids in the said institution branded bags and school supplies, some toys and delicious food for their meal. They also had different fun games and a puppet show for the younger children. Many kids join as they sing a happy birthday song for the birthday celebrant.
Based on their official website, Gawad Kalinga, officially known as the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation is a Philippine-base movement that aims to end poverty by first restoring the dignity of the poor. “Happy birthday, Michael Pacquiao. I am so proud of you.”
