Look: Megan Young And Mikael Daez Finally Tied The Knot In Zambales

Celebrity couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez finally tied the knot today, January 25, after nine years of being a couple.

The long-time couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at San Roque Chapel in Subic, Zambales, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

On Instagram, the newlyweds shared beautiful photos that were taken in their intimate wedding ceremony.

“Megan Young-Daez and Mikael Daez-Young,” Megan captioned her post.

For his part, Mikael wrote,

“Hello to Megan Young-Daez and it’s time for me to get used to Mikael Daez-Young.”

As seen in the photos Mikael uploaded, his beautiful bride wore an elegant, white one shoulder dress, as for him, he sported a dapper brown tuxedo.

Other photos show Megan wearing an elegant, minimalist wedding dress for the church ceremony.

It will be recalled that actor-model Mikael confirmed his relationship with Miss World 2013 Megan in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) way back in 2017, saying that they had already been dating for 6 years during that time.

He said:

“I’ve been with Megan Young for six years and first time kong inaamin iyan.”

Following their revelation, the couple became open to the public about their relationship. This was also shown through the respective social media accounts of Megan and Mikael where they usually share posts about their travel adventures and countless romantic dates.

Many were surprised as they managed to plan this wedding quietly, they only shared the news on the actual day of their big day.

In May 2019, Megan was asked by the press as to when she and Mikael plan to get married. She replied,

“No. You’ll just find out one day if we’re married siguro. Ganun na lang.

“Alam niyo naman kami, quiet lang naman kami.”

The couple celebrated their ninth anniversary as a couple last January 6, 2020.
