Look: Makisig Morales Celebrates First Wedding Anniversary With Fil-Aussie Wife Nicole Joson

23-year-old Australia-based actor Makisig Morales recently expressed his love for his wife his Filipino-Australian beauty queen wife Nicole Joson on their first milestone as husband and wife. The former “Bagani” star who resides in Australia looks forward to spending the new year with his lovely wife Nicole.

Makisig and Nicole got married early last year, but only revealed it to the press around June. The two tied the knot in an intimate beach sunset wedding ceremony held at the South-Eastern area of La Perouse in Sydney, Australia.



In September 2018, many were surprised when their engagement was announced through their respective social media accounts.

On his Instagram account last Wednesday, January 8, Makisig Morales penned a message to share his feelings about the new year and celebrating his first anniversary with Nicole.

Makisig wrote:

“Happy 1 year anniversary my Love. Maraming challenges na nangyari sa 2019 at ganun din ngayong 2020 pero ang importante ay we will face it together! Stay fun-loving-energetic-weirdong tao na minahal ko. I love you so much. ️ P.S

In 2006, Makisig Morales rose to fame as the main star of the International Emmy-nominated Kapamilya primetime fantasy TV series “Super Inggo.” He also landed on big-screen roles and appeared in several TV shows and films. But before trying his luck in the acting scene, he was first introduced as a contestant in “Duet Bulilit,” a singing segment in the noon-time variety show MTB.



The young Makisig also appeared as one of the contestants on ABS-CBN singing reality-show Little Big Star, where he was declared as the first-runner up of the said competition. After this, he also became the lead singer of the boy band Mak and the Dudes.

Makisig last appeared on Philippine TV for his role as Dumakulem (Taga-Gubat, a young man from a tribe of forest dwellers who finds himself handed with superpowers) in the 2018 fantaserye “Bagani” along with Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Matteo Guidicelli.
