Look: Maine Mendoza Dancing “Tala” With Arjo Atayde Caught The Netizens Attention

Kapuso Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza recently caught the attention of the netizens with her ‘Tala‘ dance video with her boyfriend Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde.

It was only recently when the song “Tala” along with its dance cover originally performed by the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo gained wider popularity and even became a dance craze among many Filipinos.

Several celebrities like Loisa Andalio, Maris Racal, at Sue Ramirez already take on the “Tala” dance challenge. But aside from these lovely Kapamilya actresses, another video that recently made rounds online was the former SexBomb dancer Izzy Trazona who performed her own dance cover with her son Sebastian Dewey.

Last Saturday, January 4, Maine and Arjo became the latest celebrities to have taken on the “Tala” dance challenge as the Kapuso actress posted their video on her Twitter account.

She recorded the almost 1-minute dance video inspired by Sarah Geronimo’s four-year-old hit song on the video-sharing platform “TikTok.”

Two hours after it was posted, it has already amassed over 82k likes and 11k retweets, with many online users who can’t help but expressed their “kilig” to the dance cover of the celebrity couple.

As of this writing, Maine and Arjo’s video now has over 1.4 million views, 208k likes, and 27k retweets.

It will be recalled the 24-year-old famous Kapuso actress, who is best known for her viral Dubsmash video and her role as “Yaya Dub” admitted that she was dating Arjo way back in March 2019.

The celebrity couple just celebrated their first anniversary last December 21, where both of them posted their sweet messages for each other on their respective Instagram accounts. The two apparently had an intimate celebration as they both shared photos where they can be seen aboard a yacht.
