Kapamilya stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil delighted their fans and supporters now that the real-life couple is back on our TV screen for their fourth primetime series together “Make It With You.”
In the press conference of their comeback series last January 9, the 22-year-old actress shared a fun moment when she was asked to share what’s the craziest thing she has done for love.
According to a report by ABS-CBN, Liza answered this question saying that she thinks that fighting for her relationship with Enrique was the craziest thing she did so far.
She went to explain that it’s because at the time she was only 17 and her father does not want her to enter a romantic relationship at a young age.
“Siyempre, 17 lang ako noong naging kami, so ipinaglaban ko ‘yung relationship namin. Kasi bawal pa talaga ako magka-boyfriend noon, kaya lang matigas ‘yung ulo ko.”
The Kapamilya actress then recalled that she even talked to her father, Daddy John Castillo Soberano, to allow her to be in a relationship with Enrique Gil.
“Sabi ko sa daddy ko, ‘Masaya ako [kay Enrique]. Kung gusto mo ako maging masaya, papayagan mo ako [na maging kami].’”
Luckily, she eventually managed to convince her father also with the help of Enrique who did great in doing his part to prove with Liza’s father that his intention to the young actress is good.
Enrique shared:
“Grabe rin [‘yung pinagdaanan ko bago naging kami]. Ipinakita ko ‘yung sarili ko. I just presented myself na ito ako, [that] I’m not pretending anything. And I think slowly enough, they saw it.”
Last October 2019, Liza and Enrique or collectively known as LizQuen already celebrated their fifth year of being together.
Just recently, the two also confirmed that they have already talked about marriage. To the point that Enrique shared his plans to build a future house with the actress, right after finishing their family home.
Enrique also caught the attention of many netizens after he shared a sweet birthday message for Liza on his Instagram account, where he expressed admiration for his beautiful girlfriend by calling her “an angel here on earth.”
“You truly are an angel here on earth. You just give so much, so much happiness and love and just i hope that me and the world can somehow give all of that love back to you. You’re not just drop dead gorgeous babe you’re the most beautiful human being I’ve ever met. Sometimes it’s just too good to be true“
