Look: James Reid Shared A Photo With Nadine Lustre Amid Rumored Breakup

Putting their breakup rumors aside, James Reid decided to share a photo of him and girlfriend Nadine Lustre on Instagram along with a cryptic message.

In his post last Friday, January 10, the 26-year-old Kapamilya actor uploaded a series of photos that were taken during his hiking trip at Mt. Ulap, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet earlier this week.

One of the photos shows the celebrity couple sitting side by side atop the mountain, while it can also be seen in the other photos that Nadine and James made this hike together with their friends.

He wrote in the caption:

“I’ve come to understand that what we’re looking for is found in the absence of searching.

“And the answer found in the absence of questions.

“If you know what I mean, it’s time to tune in.

“If you don’t… then aren’t you lucky.

“So this is me, tuning in.”

It will be recalled that last January 1, 2020, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) reported that the couple allegedly ended their 4 years relationship due to “irreconcilable differences.”

Prior to this, the actress’s Instagram posts have been cryptic, with some assuming that her captions are hinting that there’s trouble in her relationship with James.

On December 25, 2019, Nadine caption her photo with the texts: “I can’t be who you want.”

Followed by another post with the actor on Dec. 29, in which she said, “No questions. just go with it.” However, this post heightened speculations that there is something in her relationship with James, when the latter’s sister Lauren Reid commented,

“But I have so many questions! [crying emoji] [heartbreak emoji].”

Reportedly, Nadine spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve with her boyfriend, but according to a source of PEP.ph, she left the house where she and James stay for several years already. Jojo Gabinete of PEP.ph was the contributing writer of the said article.

The Kapamilya actress finally broke her silence by calling out The Philippine STAR’s veteran entertainment editor and columnist, Ricky Lo who wrote that,

“James is handling the breakup with care to cushion the impact on Nadine who has admitted grappling with mental illness.”

In her Instagram story last January 4, Nadine said,

“None of what you said was true, she also lambasted the columnist for bringing up the sensitive issue about “mental illness/tragic past” of someone “just to prove a point.”
