After staying away from the limelight for more than a year, the 24-year-old beautiful Kapamilya actress Julia Montes, dubbed as “Daytime Drama Queen” will be returning to the showbiz scene this 2020.
On the official Facebook page of Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., they shared a photo of Julia Montes visiting their place last Wednesday, January 15. The post has the caption:
“What an exciting year for our Daytime Drama Queen @montesjulia08 ! Thank you for visiting us!”
Following this social media post, one of ABS-CBN executives, Deo Endrinal, head of Dreamscape Entertainment uploaded photos on his Instagram account showing that the 24-year-old actress just had a meeting with other bosses, which probably means that she will still be staying with the Kapamilya network.

Julia’s talent manager and head of the talent management company Cornerstone Entertainment Inc, Erickson Raymundo finally confirmed the much-awaited showbiz comeback of the actress in his recent IG post saying that she already has projects lined up for her this year.
“Welcome back @montesjulia08 ! 2020 will be a busy year for you and I can’t wait to share all the projects lined up for you. Exciting months ahead!”
Many fans expressed their joy over Montes’ showbiz comeback, including other celebrities and her fellow Kapamilya artists such as Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador, Angeline Quinto, Dimples Romana, and Denise Laurel who were all happy to hear about this announcement.
It will be recalled that Julia last appeared in the 2018 ABS-CBN drama series Asintado. After this, the actress flew to Germany to spend time with her biological father Martin Schnittka.
Despite giving this as the reason for her showbiz hiatus, rumors and speculations circulated online that Julia flies out-of-the-country because she was pregnant, and the father of her child was the “Ang Probinsyano” lead actor, Coco Martin. Cornerstone Entertainment, the talent agency of the actress has since denied these rumors.
