Look: Alex Gonzaga Shows Off Her Elegant Diamond Engagement Ring On Instagram

A few days after announcing her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada, Alex Gonzaga decided to share with her 8.2 million followers a closer look at her elegant diamond ring.

Last Friday, January 24, Alex showed off her stunning engagement ring as she posed for some closeup photos on her IG account. She wrote in the caption:

“I am still on a high ‘coz Mikee put a ring on it!! Matutuwa si Queen Beyoncé sa aking Fiancé! ?Wearing chili nude lippy shade ?.”

Even the actress’s close friends couldn’t contain their excitement over her engagement, just like the celebrity makeup artist Mikka Marcaida, who took to Instagram to express her happiness now that Alex will soon get married.

It was also in her Instagram account where the 32-year-old comedienne-vlogger first revealed the news about her engagement to her longtime beau, last January 16, which happened to her birthday.

Meanwhile, other details about it were shared in her vlog showing that her now-fiance, Mikee, proposed to her in December during a trip to Hong Kong. The whole proposal was witnessed by Alex’s parents, Daddy Bonoy and Mommy Pinty.

The first part of her YouTube vlog shows:

“As I turn a year older, I want to show you something special that happened to me in our last Hong Kong trip. You are all part of my life now and I am very happy to share this with all of you.”

While there’s no further announcement about the exact date of the wedding, Alex’s older sister, Toni Gonzaga recently revealed that they have already finalized the wedding gown that Alex will wear on their big day. The celebrity sisters together with their family went to Singapore not only to visit some of the country’s attractions but also to look for Alex’s bridal gown.
