“I don’t know. Ako ‘yun eh. Why are we going to have closure and tell each other what went wrong? Just ride the tide”

Julia was quoted saying this when she had an earlier interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”

A few days after, it was Joshua’s turn to air his side on this topic when the “King of Talk” asked him about his personal view on the importance of having closure in a relationship.

Joshua explained that for him, it is very important for two people who once shared something special to have proper closure.

The actor guested in TWBA last Tuesday, January 28 to promote their movie “Block Z” together with his co-actors McCoy de Leon and Yves Flores. The film also stars Julia Barretto, Joshua last reported girlfriend.

During their interview, Tito Boy asked the 22-year-old actor if he agrees with Julia personal view that “not having a closure is closure.”

Joshua immediately replied with “No”, followed by explaining his answer.

He went on to share that the two parties involved should give each other closure by means of talking personally. In that way, both of you will not blame each other in the end.

Joshua continued:

It was back in April 2019 when Joshua and Julia admitted their real relationship status, saying that they’ve been a couple for two years. Already. However, the two decided to call it quits after a few months, followed by reports that they chose to return to being “best friends.”

Joshua even clarified in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last July 2019, that there’s no third party involved in their breakup.
