Proud celebrity mom, Gretchen Barretto took to Instagram to share her daughter Dominique Cojuangco’s latest achievement in life —graduating Magna Cum Laude from a prestigious school in California.
The young lady is La Greta’s unica hija with businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco, she recently finished her second degree Associates of Arts in Merchandising & Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, California, USA.
Prior to this, she obtained her first degree in fashion design from the prestigious school Istituto Marangoni in London, United Kingdom, way back in July 2017.
But this time around, Dominique made her mother beamed with so much pride as she graduated with Latin honor “magna cum laude.”
It was first shown on the young lady’s Instagram Stories, where she posted a photo of her diploma with the caption.
“Four months late, but hey! My second degree.”
Based on her certificate, this recognition was given to Dominique on September 26, 2019, which was the actual day of her graduation, but she only posted about this good news recently.
Her celebrity mom did not let this chance pass to brag about her daughter’s recent milestone as she decided to re-post the same photo that her daughter shared on her social media account.
She wrote the caption “My baby love,” and tagged Dominique’s Instagram account and even highlighted the word “Magna cum laude.”
According to other reports, the 24-year-old only daughter of Gretchen and Tonyboy has been based in San Francisco for more than a year already, she’s there to pursue her studies and for her intern at the make-up company “Benefit Cosmetics.”
It will be recalled that her absence during the wake of her maternal grandfather Miguel Alvir Barretto in October last year was questioned by some netizens. At the time, Dominique responded to one netizen by giving the statement, “I’m in a completely different country with a job.”
