2nd Lieutenant Matteo Guidicelli Joined Philippine Army’s Relief Operations For Batangas Evacuees

29-year-old Kapamilya actor and 2nd Lieutenant Matteo Guidicelli has joined relief operations for the families affected by the Taal Volcano eruption in Batangas.

On Instagram, Matteo recently shared photos where he can be seen with his fellow military friends in the Philippine Army in the actual distribution of relief goods to an evacuation center located at Barangay Poblacion 3, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
As seen in the photos, Matteo and his team used a military truck to transport the relief goods such as food, bottled drinks, and clothes which were given to over 200 families in the said evacuation center.

He also took the chance to thank the online grocery platform who donated to their team these relief goods.
“Thank you very much @landersph team for the generous donation of relief goods to the Philippine Army for victims of the eruption.”
The 29-year-old actor also urged everyone who wants to help and donate to contact landers ph, as they were also conducting their own donation drive Matteo added,
“Landers is accepting donations, follow @landersph for more information!!”

Many netizens praised Matteo who was reported to be the one who initiated this donation drive for the Taal Volcano eruption victims. Some even shared some snaps on their social media account showing the actor personally handling the relief goods to the families inside the evacuation center of Sto. Tomas City.
It was back in August last year when Matteo graduated as a Philippine Army 2nd Lieutenant, four months after he joined the military as an Army Reservist. For his oath-taking or “donning of the rank,” he was joined by his supportive celebrity girlfriend, Sarah Geronimo, who was tasked to don the pins to the actor.

Matteo is also a sworn member of the auxiliary group of the Philippine Coast Guard alongside other celebrities like Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico.
