Funny and bubbly teen celebrity McNeal Briguela or popularly known as “Awra” first caught the attention of many as an internet sensation. It all started when his elder sister uploaded a simple video of his “drama” gag, which he ends by displaying his iconic “awra” face, this later became a trending video online and catapult him to immense popularity.

But he gained further recognition when he starred in the Kapamilya primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from 2016 to early 2019. He was then considered as the “breakout child star” of his generation for showing his comedic timing, a flair for fashion, and a steadfast conviction to be true to himself.
The former “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” child star prove himself wealthy of the fame he received as he catered to the public not only his comedic side but also his skills in dancing, singing and acting.
As a matter of fact, Awra’s life was featured in a titular episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya in 2016, playing as himself alongside with actors Aleck Bovick and Janus del Prado who played his mother and father respectively. Then, after a year he was declared champion in the first season of the Filipino version of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids (season 1).
After this, the 15-year-old actor was given other projects that made many people love his unique style and even gained more followers on social media because of his sudden popularity.
Just recently, Awra once again created some waves online after he posted photos and videos together with a handsome young guy, who was later known as Feng Dela Cruz (Raffy Rubia Dela Cruz).
While the two seem to be very good friends, netizens couldn’t help but speculate that Awra and the other guy have something special between them, and Dela Cruz was later on rumored to be the teen actor’s boyfriend.
Their TikTok videos made this speculation stronger as they can be seen displaying their sweetness by hugging or kissing each other sometimes in the cheeks or forehead. Because of their trending photos and videos, there are some who even dubbed them as “Mini Vice and Ion.”
