Look: September 2019 LET Top 1 Celebrates Success With His Girlfriend Who Made It In The Top 8

This young couple really proved that they share a common goal in life as they both landed in the Top 10 of the September 2019 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) – Elementary Level.

On the official list of LET passers, Joshua Canseco was concluded as the Top 1, with a score of 82.60 percent, while his girlfriend Jullymae Delgado landed on the Top 8 with a score of 90.20%.

The two both graduated from Mindanao State University – General Santos City campus as cum laude. But despite having an edge in the field of education, both of them also experienced self-doubts during LET.

Since Joshua is already working as a full-time private teacher during day time, he admits that reviewing at night for the board exams and working the whole day was really exhausting for him.

According to him, “I was weighing varying priorities during the daylight and during the nighttime. Literally, like 7:30AM-4:30PM facing 29 of my children then shifts to 5:30PM-9:30PM facing reviewers at the review center while having cup noodles for dinner.”

To keep his motivation high, he had kept a photo of him and his girlfriend with the message, “BLEPT 2019 Top 1s” as his phone wallpaper since the first day of their review.

He did this because he believes in the “law of attraction paired with appropriate actions.” Luckily, this worked for the couple as they were part of the over 83,000 September LET passers. What’s even more impressive is that they both made it as Topnotchers.

For her part, Jullymae had many insecurities and uncertainties inside her. In fact, when the results came out, her boyfriend shared that she didn’t even bother to check her name in the list of Topnotchers as she only thought of passing the LET exam.

The couple who had been together for more than two years now said that this surprise blessing was the “best monthsary gift” they had for each other so far. Joshua and Jullymae are currently in a long-distance relationship since the guy works as a private teacher in Gensan and his girlfriend is in Australia.
