Look: Pia Wurtzbach and Megan Young Joined Other Pinay Beauty Queens In The 2019 SEA Games Parade
During the grand opening of the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, last Saturday, November 30. Pinay pageant titleholders served as muses for each of the 11 participating countries during the parade of athletes.
This is another reason for us Filipinos to be proud of being the host country of this biennial multi-sport event for this year.
2015 Miss Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach and 2013 Miss World titleholder Megan Young were among the Philippines’ international beauty pageant titleholders who graced at the opening of the Southeast Asian Games.

The host country, the Philippines’ team, entered as the last with their confidently beautiful with a heart muse, 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach. At that moment, Hotdog’s OPM classic Manila was played as the background parade music.
Megan Young, on the other hand, paraded with the Indonesia contingent, the same country where the beauty queen won the Miss World title in 2013.

Other beauty queens who were also picked as muses for the delegates of the games were Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman for Brunei Darussalam.

Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla paraded with the Laos national teams.
The muse for Malaysia was Miss International 2006 Precious Lara Quigaman. She was the former muse of the Philippines team during the 23rd SEA Games in 2005. The Philippines was also the host country that year.
2017 Miss Earth Karen Ibasco walked with the delegates of Myanmar.
Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrel for the Singapore team.

Miss Tourism 2017 Jannie Alipo-on paraded with the delegates from East Timor.
Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Shafira Akeel walked with the Vietnam contingent.
Based on the reports, all the Pinay beauty queen muses for 2019 SEA Games wore custom ternos designed by Eric Pineda.
