Celebrity couple Rodjun Cruz and Dianne Medina finally tied the knot at Manila Cathedral today, December 21.
The two exchanged vows at the Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception or also known as Manila Cathedral, and were joined by family and friends, as well as other fellow celebrities.
On Instagram, their friends and fellow celebrities Matteo Guidicelli and Joross Gamboa uploaded photos taken during Rodjun and Dianne’s wedding ceremony.
San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles and Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go were also spotted in the celebrity couple’s big day.
Rodjun, 33, has decided to marry longtime girlfriend, actress and TV anchor Dianne Medina, 33, after more than a decade of being in a relationship since they have been together since they were in their late teens.
It was on his 30th birthday on October 10, 2017, when Rodjun proposed to the actress during their trip in Boracay. But they made the announcement in 2018 that the wedding will be held on Dec. 21, 2019.
In an interview with PEP last year, Rodjun said that said that the reason for this was, “Para mas makaipon pa. Kasi gusto namin, di ba festive ‘pag Pasko tapos may mga kamag-anak na nasa ibang bansa na uuwi. Tapos ang gusto talaga namin 23, kaso hindi siya Saturday. Kasi ‘yung monthsary namin 23. Malapit na sa Pasko so baka maraming hindi makapunta so tinarget namin na 21,” he explained.
Two days before their special day, the celebrity couple took to Instagram to share that they have already fulfilled their first investment as a couple, which is a newly built multi-level house in Quezon City.
Based on the video caption of the 33-year-old actress, it took them nearly 2 years to finish the whole construction process of their first house.
