“True Darna” Angel Locsin Spotted In Mindanao To Help Earthquake Victims

After spending some time in attending Halloween celebrations such as the Opulence: Let Them Eat Cake last October 31, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin went straight to Mindanao together with her fiance Neil Arce to join the Philippine Red Cross in conducting charity works to extend help to the earthquake victims.

In an earlier post on the official Facebook page of ““Philippine Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter,”” they thanked the 34-year-old beautiful Kapamilya actress and even called her a “true humanitarian” for personally rendering her service in this crisis that their region is experiencing right now.

“Darna has landed in Mindanao. Following a series of powerful earthquakes that jolted areas in Mindanao, Angel Locsin personally came to Davao del Sur to extend help. Together with her fiance, Neil Arce, the couple brought items for distribution and even helped the volunteers of Davao del Sur Chapter load the boxes into trucks.

“Locsin has been supporting the Philippine Red Cross for a long time and has participated during relief packing and distributions since Typhoon Ondoy. A true humanitarian indeed!,” the Facebook post says.

The post featured some photos of Angel and Neil on truckloads of relief goods for distribution.

The former ““Darna”” star arrived in Davao just a day after a 6.5-magnitude quake hit Tulunan, Cotabato, and nearby provinces, leaving several buildings and other establishments in Davao City and other parts of Mindanao sustained damage.

Prior to this, photos of Angel Locsin made rounds online after she was spotted by some netizens at the NCCC Uyanguren mall while buying some relief goods.

They all can’t help but admire this kind-hearted Kapamilya actress, who spares her very precious time in assisting the earthquake victims in Davao City rather than spending her time elsewhere.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the actress has participated in disaster relief efforts. Back in 2017, Angel also went to Lanao del Norte and was among the first to provide help to those who are affected by the Marawi clash.

Aside from that, she also skipped this year’s grand ABS-CBN Ball and opted to donate directly the money she would have spent for the ball to the Bantay Bata Foundation.
