Phylbert Angelie Ranollo Fagestrom or better known by her stage name Bea Alonzo used to live in a condo for many years. But when the Kapamilya actress turned 26, she decided to have a bigger space by moving into her 3-story Asian Contemporary house in Quezon City.
Bea worked really hard so that her dream of having a beautiful house would finally come true.
In an earlier article on “realliving,” Jeizele delos Reyes-Go, the Kapamilya actress’ interior designer revealed that when they were thinking of the design plan for her dream house, Bea said that she wanted to have the sophistication of hotels, the coziness of Asian resorts, and the “bling” factor from glossy finishes.
Given these preferences, they came up with a mix of an old and new design or the fusion of traditional with modern.
Here’s what her dream home in Quezon City looks like!
Bea’s home looks grand and imposing because of its steel gates and electrical wire fences. Another thing that will surely capture the attention of passersby is the sense of warmth from the stone claddings that imitate the look of stacked cubes of wood that adds a touch of timeless elegance in her property.
Upon entering the actress sophisticated house, the guests will be welcomed by her living area that has a cowhide area rug, purchased from Bo Concept. It complements the all-white sofa set from Origins Home Furniture. This area is completed with a necklace-type chandelier from Shop InStyle and an abstract painting by National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.
Adding sparkle to Bea’s powder room is this intricately carved mirror and the gold mosaic tiles.
The owner of the house and her guest would have to walk through this short passage before reaching the formal living room. The hallway is lit by a chandelier while the walls are designed with mother-of-pearl mosaic tiles from HM Trading Philippines.
For her super elegant dining area, people can see the 10-seater solid acacia wood dining table, paired with upholstered chairs tufted with metal details that she bought from Origins Home Furniture. They also placed a crystal chandelier from Victoria Mondiale above the dining table.
Bea’s elegant kitchen was equipped with all the appliances that a true foodie/cook surely has, such as a range hood, a glass-ceramic cooktop, built-in microwave, and convection ovens, an espresso machine, an ice-cream maker, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Meanwhile, the customized cabinets in this area called “high-gloss white laminates with subtle wooden color accents” by the interior designer Jeizele.
In one corner of the kitchen, you can see Bea’s cozy breakfast nook, which is a perfect place to start a day.
The 32-year-old Kapamilya actress had her home office located on the ground floor of her house. It has an old-meets-new motif as the modern stuff such as the Mac desktop computer and LED TV were put near vintage items like the manual typewriter and the phonograph from the brand Heima.
Bea’s dressing area is only allotted for her clothes as she has a separate room for all the shoes and bags that she uses for work. She keeps her accessories in the cabinet in the middle is where she keeps her accessories.
In the other cabinet of Bea’s walk-in closet contains her bag collection, which includes the brands Gucci, Prada, Tory Burch, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. While for her shoe collection, Bea owns pairs of stilettos and flats from Prada, YSL, Christian Louboutin, and Gucci.
The biggest space on the third floor was occupied by this entertainment area, which she also called as “the second living room” and “Favorite place naming pamilya!”
Bea’s simple pleasures has long, luxurious baths in her immaculate claw-foot tub placed in the master bathroom. She also has a tray made of palochina that can serve as a surface where she can place a cup of tea, a book, or scented candles.
Inside her beautiful and sophisticated home is the actress own sauna, this allowed her to enjoy the pleasure of having a sauna without the need to go out of her house.
Bea’s master bedroom really looks like those expensive rooms in a hotel. She has her queen-size bed headboard customized. The room is also well covered by the heavy drapes that keep the harsh morning sunlight from getting in and waking up the actress.
It also has a chandelier that the actress purchased from Victoria Mondiale.
Most of her events and parties take place in the pool area because of its inviting and cozy sight. This place is also perfect for simple family gatherings. The three earth colors are also present here, blue pool, green grass, and brown columns and shingles that adds a pleasing image in the house backyard.
Aside from this, the irregularly shaped pool that follows the uneven cut of the lot and the waterfall in one end was done as part of feng shui advice. It was believed that continuously moving or flowing of water and having a water element in your house will bring luck or a steady flow of blessings to the house owners.
