Sharon Cuneta On Her Newly-Built Friendship with Asia’s Songbird: “Hindi mo at all ini-expect ang makakasundo mo pala”

A few weeks after the successful two-night “Iconic” concert of Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last October, it seems that the “Megastar” still can’t get over with her first-ever big performance on stage with the “Asia’s Songbird” that is truly an epic one.

Last Tuesday, October 29, the 53-year-old Megastar shared a photo that was taken during their recent concert on her Instagram account. The photo shows Regine and Sharon both wearing a black and shiny gown as they held hands together while singing.

In the caption of this photo, she expressed that she feels so blessed to find another good friend, who is none other than Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, “Sometimes talaga, yun pang hindi mo at all ini-expect ang makakasundo mo pala ng walang ka-effort-effort, magiging kaibigan, at makakausap ng puso mo ang puso niya,” she started.

The Megastar went on to thank the “Asia’s Songbird, her “Nana,” and the One from above for their friendship. “Sana noon pa pero at least marami pang taon na puede i-celebrate ang friendship namin. Thank you again, Reg, my Nana. And thank You again dear God for this friendship!.”

Meanwhile, the “Asia’s Songbird” also replied to her post by saying, “Eh kasi hindi pa kita kaya ng mga panahong yun one sided lang friendship natin ? pero kahit hindi ako nag sasalita feeling ko talaga noon close na tayo nakalimutan ko lang kausapin ka ? I miss you see you soon ate ? What a dream concert ate thank you ?.”

Posting a closer snap of one of their “Iconic” photos while holding hands tightly, she said that their friendship is “True. Sincere. Honest. Both all-heart. Solid.”

Prior to these IG posts, Sharon also shared a photo with Regine to commemorate their concert. She also mentioned in the caption that she is already missing Regine, “Reg is super busy now being a Mommy, wife and with lots of work! Me? Haven’t recovered! May hangover pa ako. And I really miss Reg.”

It was back in July when the Megastar happily broke the news of their collaboration through an Instagram post, where she shared a photo with Regine along with other staff that was taken after the production meeting for their “Iconic” concert.
