Look: Kapamilya Singer Darren Espanto Graduates Senior High School With Honors
18-year-old ABS-CBN singer Darren Espanto proved that he got the looks, talent, and brain as he graduates senior high school with flying colors.
In an Instagram post last Monday, November 25, the young and talented ABS-CBN performer uploaded photos of him in a white toga while also showing a medal and some certificates.
He wrote in the caption: “I thought it was impossible to achieve this. Thankful that I did not doubt myself…. Today, I am officially a graduate of SENIOR HIGH and very excited to go through the next level. It is true that HARD WORK PAYS OFF.”

Darren proudly shared his latest achievement, finishing senior high school as the class’s first honor and a recipient of Excellence in Music and Arts awards from Sanston Academy Homeschool of Asia Pacific in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.
In the last part of his post, the young Kapamilya singer expressed his gratitude by giving the credits to those people who have guided him in his SHS journey.
He went on, “Thank you to all the people who helped me and made me believe that I CAN DO IT. “You guys know who you are…. truly grateful to each of you.

In his TV guesting in the late-night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” earlier this month, Darren shared with the King of talk on how he managed to balance his career with his studies.
He said, “Hindi ko rin po alam, e, pero I’m very thankful na I have, you know, my tutors to really help me to really get through high school as well. “Yung Grade 11 ko po, I graduated with honors and yung Grade 12 din as well. So I’m very happy po to keep on doing what I love which is singing, [at the same time] continuing my education po.”

When asked about the course that he wants to take in college, Darren shared that he is planning to pursue a college degree either in the business or medical field.
“Di ko pa po alam, e, pero something in the medical field like my parents as well. Pero since I’m also in showbiz, I’d also like to learn a bit more about business as well din po.”
He added, “Right now, we’re looking at a few schools na kayang mag-accommodate ng schedule ko din and is flexible. And we’re also looking at the courses that they have to offer.”
