Look: Janella Salvador Answers The Question If Joshua Garcia Has Already Moved On From Julia Barretto

21-year-old Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador said in an interview last August that she wants to exclude herself from the controversies surrounding the breakup of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, who is known as one of her closest showbiz friends.

Janella and Joshua are currently being paired as love team and many viewers noticed that the two young actors have chemistry on-screen. In fact, they now have a growing fanbase, dubbed as “JoshNella.”

The Kapamilya actress attended the media conference of her upcoming movie “The Heiress” last Thursday, November 14, which was held at 38 Valencia Events Place, Quezon City.

Based on a report PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Janella was asked some questions by the press about her current leading man, Joshua Garcia. She was also asked if she thinks that the actor already moved on from his break up with Julia Barretto.

She answered, “Actually, okey naman si Joshua, e. Hindi ko siya nakitaan ng na-depress or whatever. He told me happy naman siyang nag-e-explore sa life by himself. So he’s doing good.”

“Tanungin natin siya kung naka-move on na siya.”

The Heiress actress shared that she and Joshua became good friends as they were able to bond during their tapings, “Nagkaroon na rin kami ng sariling bond, e. Open kami sa isa’t isa. Kapag may problem, nakakausap namin ang isa’t isa. So, kapag nagkakaeksena kami, talagang naiintindihan na namin isa’t isa tinginan pa lang.”

She also expressed in the interview how much she admires the actor for his amazing acting skills, “Sobrang nakakatuwa. I’m actually having so much fun working with Joshua. It’s true what they say, napakagaling niya talaga,” Janella added.

When asked if she feels awkward being friends with the ex-lovers, the young actress said, “Work is work naman, e. I’m still friends with Julia but that doesn’t mean naman hindi kami puwedeng maging friends ni Joshua. So kahit love team kami on screen, hindi naman kailangan sa totoong buhay may something din, e.”

Last Sunday, November 10, the former couple, Julia and Joshua have seen in each other again at the ABS-CBN’s Station ID shoot. Based on the reports, they greeted each other happily and Julia even noticed that Joshua was getting thinner.
