Look: Dimples Romana’s Eldest Daughter Callie Wants To Be A Pilot and Beauty Queen

35-year-old Kadenang Ginto star Dimples Romana recently shared that her eldest daughter Callie wants to be a pilot and a beauty queen someday.

The beautiful Kapamilya actress has two adorable kids, Callie and Alonzo, with husband Boyet Ahmee. Callie, the eldest, is now in her teenage years, while Alonzo is only 4 years old.

In a recent report by the entertainment website PUSH, Dimples revealed that her engineer and businessman husband, Boyet, started to experience problems because their 15-year-old daughter already has suitors.

She said, “Alam mo, wala akong problema. Yung daddy niya, siyempre babae kasi ito so may mga manliligaw na.

“Akala ko nga sa cartoons lang nangyayaring may lumalabas na usok sa tenga, pwede pala yon in real life, ha, kasi pag tingin ko sa asawa ko may lumalabas na… Kasi si Callie, siyempre long-legged, ang ganda niya, eh, very Filipina beauty siya.”

The celebrity mom of two also shared that Callie is not interested in showbiz as her dream is to become a beauty queen.

“Actually, kinausap ko na sina Jonas (Gaffud), sabi ko, ‘Jonas, gustong mag-beauty queen ni Callie,’ so kung anong gusto. Ako naman, kita mo di siya nag-artista, kasi kung ako, kung ano ang gusto ng mga anak ko do’n tayo. Do’n tayo sa masaya sila,” she added.

Dimples know that her eldest daughter is really serious in this as she’s planning to get into some outreach programs and advocacies since these are the things that beauty queens are mostly into.

The supportive mom added that aside from entering the pageantry world, Callie also plans of becoming a pilot someday. “STEM siya ngayon tapos ang kukunin daw niya kasi siya naman ang pumipili, ang kukunin daw niya ay Biochem, after Biochem mag-Aviation siya. Ang strength niya chemistry, pero gusto rin niyang mag-piloto.

Dimples shared that she also joined a local beauty pageant before, where she won as Binibining Paranaque. But the funny part is that she was only pushed by her mom to participate in the said competition.

“Si Mama ang gustong mag-beauty queen ako, pero pinagbigyan ko siya sa Binibining Paranaque kasi sabi ng nanay ko no’n kapag nanalo daw ako do’n, P150K ang cash, hati daw kami. So alam mong ginawa ko? Sumali ako, eh, nanalo ako, so bago ko binigay yung envelop sa nanay ko hati na – may P75 thousand ako. Ha-ha-ha,” the Kapamilya actress said.

During the interview, she was also asked if she’s strict to her daughter in terms of having suitors, to which she answered as no.

“Naku hindi, Ang daddy ang istrikto.”

She also explained that it was Callie’s father who is very strict, he even taught their daughter some sort of self defense — target shooting, “Pero si Boyet tinuturuan na niyang mag-target shooting si Callie. Bumabaril si Callie, I’m not kidding, bumabaril siya, kasi you can, sa mga firing range, so tinuturuan ng daddy niya.

“Pinagalitan ko nga si Boy, sabi ko, baka naman hindi ako magka-apo niyan. Gusto ko magkaroon ng… so I was telling Callie na, ‘Baka puwede naman na mga 24, 25, mag-asawa ka na,’ para yung apo ko ay ma-enjoy ko.”
