34-year-old TV actress-host Sheena Patricia Camille Quiambao Prats or simply Camille Prats recently revealed that she and husband VJ Yambao are already happy with their four children, and decided not to add more after their youngest Baby Nolan.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last November 9 PEP.ph in Luxent Hotel, Timog Ave., Quezon City, the celebrity mom said that she and her husband would like to give their kids the best in everything, especially when it comes to spending quality time together and giving them enough attention.
According to Camille, “Kasi, all in all, we have four kids na, and happy na kami roon. Gusto kasi namin to be able to give quality time to our kids.
“We want to give them the best and provide them with the best. Hindi lang yung kung ano lang ang kailangan nila, and to be able to do that, kailangan mas konti sila.
“And ako kasi, personally, I really like to be able to spend time with my kids na isa-isa sila. Kasi, iba-iba ang characters nila, iba-iba ang needs nila as children. So, gusto ko, natututukan ko yun.
“By having a lot, baka hindi ko ma-maximize ang oras ko, considering also that I am a working mom. I just want to give them the best quality of life that they can have. I want to make sure that they feel loved, and they have what they need.”
The celebrity mom explained that she and VJ already discussed that Nolan would be their last child, during the time when she was still pregnant with him. Considering her age right now as another factor, Camille continued, “I’m also 34 na rin po, so okay na po ako sa four kids. Parang ngayon, next level naman ang gusto naming gawin.
“We want to continue building dreams for our family.”
Four months after giving birth to Baby Nolan, the Kapuso actress-host already resumed with her hosting stint for the Kapuso morning show, Mars, but she decided not to continue with her other showbiz works as she also needs to spend time in their family-owned Divine Angels Montessori school in Cainta, Rizal where she works as a school administrator.
The celebrity mom proudly shared: “It’s growing. Maganda yung opportunity nung eskuwelahan at lahat naman tayo, yun ang gusto.”
“To have a stable income and I’m very blessed that I’m still doing what I love to do until this point, na nandito pa rin ako sa industry.
“But siyempre, more than anything, I want to make sure na ma-secure ko rin yung future ng mga anak ko.”
However, she also admits that although she enjoys a lot running their school, there will always be a part of her that belongs to showbiz. She said, “At this point, na-realize ko na hindi ko rin siya matututukan. Kasi, I always go back to acting which is my first love.”
Camille’s husband, VJ Yambao is currently based in the Philippines, which means that they can have more time to spend together, as well as with their four children. With that, the couple also ventured in the food business since they both love to eat delicious food.
“We invested in a restaurant, kasi mahilig siyang kumain. Mahilig din akong kumain. Nag-isip kami ng isang bagay na ine-enjoy namin. Yun ang pinagsimulan naming mag-asawa. We are also an investor of a Japanese restaurant,” she shared.
On top of all the blessings she has right now, the 34-year-old celebrity mom is also thankful for being part of a big family and having an extended family.
She said, “I’m very blessed with wonderful in-laws. I have two sisters-in-laws kasi, dalawang kapatid ko na ang may asawa.
“Then, may kapatid din ako and we’re very blessed na kaming apat na babae sa pamilya, sobrang nagkakasundo.”
Camille went on to share the advantages of living within a big family compound, “We see each other almost every day, kasi nga, nag-oopisina kami. Halos lahat kaming mga anak ay nagtatrabaho sa isang opisina, iba-ibang kumpanya lang.”
