James Reid’s Intriguing Reaction In The Possibility Of Working With Julia Barretto: “Let’s make life easy”

26-year-old Kapamilya actor Robert James Marquinez Reid, professionally known as James Reid, revealed in a recent interview with the King of Talk that he could not see himself working in a future project with actress Julia Barretto.
It can be recalled that way back in mid-2015, there were some rumors that surfaced online, linking these two young actors after they were supposedly seen having a “coffee date.”

Another controversial issue that same year is when a netizen shared a photo of Julia and James in a bar at The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. But James denied his involvement with the actress.
Last October 29, on TWBA “Tonight with Boy Abunda” Dressing Room Exclusive, James Reid was asked by Tito Boy in his special segment he called “Games Reid” or “Games Over Reid” if he is willing to do future projects with other Kapamilya leading ladies, followed by an explanation why he chose that answer.
“’ Games Reid’ is okay, while ‘Games Over Reid’ is no. You wanna work with them or not. And maybe you can tell us why,” Tito Boy explained.

The King of Talk flashed some photos of the possible actresses, including Yassi Pressman, Janella Salvador, Liza Soberano, and Kathryn Bernardo. To which the actor answered all with “Games Reid” or a yes to work with them.
But when he saw the last photo showing Julia Barretto, the actor replied with “Games Over.”
He then explained the reason why he doesn’t want to be paired with the said actress, “There’s too much noise when it comes to fans and stuff. I have no problem with her. It’s just too much noise.
“Let’s make life easy.” he ended.
In the same interview, he also talked about his new project with Nancy Jewel McDonie, who also goes by her new Korean name Lee Geu Roo of K-pop girl group Momoland.

James said that he also asked their JaDine fans to support and respect his team-up with the K-pop star. He went on, “That’s so old, it’s such an old formula, trying to tie them together to get people to watch the show. I mean, it’s like 2019, people should let artists work together for the sake of working.”
The two stars will team up for the upcoming teleserye “Soulmate” that will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone and will be produced by Dreamscape.
