Here’s What Happened To Actress Roxanne Guinoo After Leaving Showbiz

Pinay actress Roxanne Bosch Guinoo-Yap was popularly known by many as the shy and bubbly contestant of the popular ABS-CBN reality TV show “Star Circle Teen Quest,” which was aired on the said network back in 2004.

When this show ended, Roxanne made it in second place. This paved her way to be one of the newest members of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic that year.

In 2007, Roxanne’s big break came when she was cast in a leading role in the drama series “Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba ang Diyos?” together with her leading man Jake Cuenca & Joross Gamboa.

The young actress also starred in several films including, Now That I Have You, D’ Anothers, Can This Be Love, Tarot, and Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie.

However, she became less active in showbiz after getting married in 2011 to Fil-Chinese businessman Angelo Elton Yap, who happens to be the cousin of Tim Yap. But because the couple was both still young at the time when they decided to settle down, their marriage made headlines as it started some rumors that the young actress was already pregnant.

Roxanne was only 24 years old back then, while Angelo was only 21 years old.

It even came to the point that Angelo’s celebrity cousin, TV and radio host, and eventologist Tim Yap, guested on the talk show hosted by Boy Abunda, The Buzz, just to defend his cousin and the actress from this issue.

Fast forward today, the couple was already blessed with three beautiful children, namely Sophia, Reine, and Reilly.

Meanwhile, many also noticed that the former Star Circle Quest contestant looked more radiant and beautiful when she became a mom. Photos of Roxanne, together with her husband and three children, is clear proof that she really made the right decision to start her own family over her career.

Despite being happy and contented with her life now away from the limelight, Roxanne occasionally does some TV guesting in ABS-CBN TV shows.

The 33-year-old mom of three recently made a special appearance in the now-defunct Kapamilya series “The General’s Daughter,” where she portrayed the role of young Amelia Guerrero.
