Bea Alonzo & Angelica Panganiban Admit Having Conflicts In Their Friendship In The Past

Kapamilya stars Angelica Panganiban and Bea Alonzo admitted that they had conflicts in the past that tested their friendship.

The two leading actress opened up about this friendship issue during the media conference of their upcoming movie, “Unbreakable” that was held at 9501 restaurant, ABS-CBN ELJCC Building, Quezon City, last Wednesday, November 20.

Bea and Angelica also revealed they even reached to the point that they stopped talking to each other because of the anger that they feel towards one another.

Angelica said, “Oo, sa magkaibigan meron talaga nun. May ill feelings, may mga misunderstandings, may tampuhan, may selosan. Nag-uusap kami ni Bey habang nagsu-shoot kami na parang, ‘Grabe, naalala mo yun, yung nagtampo ka sa akin?’ Ganyan, ganyan.

“Or siya naman, ‘Oo, girl, ikaw nga din nagalit.’ Alam mo yung ganun?

“May mga napag-uusapan kami, and na-imagine ko, ‘Oo nga, magkaibigan nga kami. Nag-aaway kami and pinagdaanan namin yung conflicts na yun.’ And nagkaroon ng time na iniwasan na lang namin isa’t isa dahil naiinis na kami sa isa’t isa.”

In fact, these two Kapamilya actresses only had the chance to fix whatever issues they had in the past when they were cast together in the romantic movie “Unbreakable.”

Bea shared with the press, “Siguro kapag natapos na yung judgment niyo sa isa’t isa, kapag natapos na yung pagkukubli ninyo ng mga nararamdaman ninyo, yung mga ill feelings niyo sa isa’t isa, dun nagsisimula yung totoong pagkakaibigan. Dun nagsisimula yung happiness, yung hope para sa isa’t isa.”

Followed by Angelica. who believed that this movie was meant for a reason, “Parang bigla na lang din inayos kami ng time. Tapos nagkataon kinausap kami ni Ate Van kung gusto namin mag-movie. So, lahat talaga nangyayari nang may dahilan talaga.”

However, they chose not to give further details on what really caused their misunderstandings in the past, and if it involved their love life.

It will be recalled that Bea Alonzo’s name was dragged in the controversial breakup of Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz in 2016. That time, Bea also broke up with her former boyfriend, actor Zanjoe Marudo.

Last July 26, Bea revealed in the story conference of the same movie that her almost 3-year relationship with Gerald Anderson already ended.

On the other hand, Angelica, also experienced love life issues with Carlo Aquino, earlier this year.

With this, Bea has something to share about their heartbreaks: “To tell you the truth, feeling ko, oo, malaking bagay na may pinagdaanan siyang pains in the past. Ako din, halos pareho yung pinagdaanan namin. Parang, di ba, ganun yun? Kapag nakaka-relate kayo sa pinagdaanan ng isa’t isa, mas bonded kayo. Kasi tinutulungan niyo yung isa’t isa na mag-heal, tinutulungan niyo yung isa’t isa na maka-move on. We pull each other up.”

Bea’s opinion was supported by her “Unbreakable” co-star, she stated, “Sobra. Sharing notes, ‘A, ganito kasi ‘yan.'”

Angelica added, “Hindi na kami puro harot. Noon, wala kayong ginawa kundi magkulitan lang, magkuwentuhan, mag-pictorial sa garden kapag may magandang background. Parang day off lang palagi. Ganun lang mga samahan namin dati. Mas lumalim ngayon.”

“Pinagsama kami dahil siguro alam din talaga ng tadhana na matutulungan namin yung isa’t isa.”

Their movie “Unbreakable,” which was directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar also stars veteran actor Ian Veneracion and Richard Gutierrez. This romantic-drama movie is set to show in cinemas nationwide on November 27, 2019.

Based on the trailer of this movie, Bea, who played as Mariel and Angelica, as Deena started out as best friends, but their friendship will be destroyed when Angelica’s character got romantically involved with Bea’s husband, played by actor Richard Guttierez.
