The “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta and “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez were gearing up for their upcoming two-night concert together at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this October 18 and 19.
But as their much-awaited Iconic concert draws nearer, fans of the two great singers got super excited to see their idols sharing the big stage together for the first time.
Three days before the first night of their big event, Sharon shared her latest photos on her Instagram account, showing her her solo photos in her fierce and edgy new look. The Megastar proudly flaunts her sleek short hair paired with her black draped dress and the other one wearing a printed silk blazer.
She also included some photos together with her Iconic concert co-performer, the songbird Regine Velasquez. According to her post, these were taken from her fashion pictorial with Mega Magazine.
Another photo shows Sharon and Regine in the October cover of the said magazine with the text that says, “Together At Last.”
It will be recalled that the 53-year-old Megastar first broke the news of their collaboration through an Instagram post last July 15.
She shared a photo together with the songbird that was taken after the production meeting for their “Iconic” concert.
“Production meeting for Regine’s and my concerts! Yippee!!! I’ve had just projects, and I’ve had passion projects. But this is a project from and for my heart! It’s a love project because I love Regine!!!” Sharon wrote.
On the other hand, Regine shared the good news on her Instagram account by re-posting the same photo the Megastar uploaded and said that she still can’t believe that she will be doing a concert with her “ultimate idol.”
Regine shared, “Parang nanaginip ako. But this is actually happening!!!!!!! a concert with my ultimate idol. My Icon my Mega. Soon”
